Hello,

I'm trying to fix the logo/text header on our website so it's crisp and clear. The image itself is OK, but the text is weird. I'm using Photoshop and it's 'text' in PS, and I've tried the crips/strong/etc. options. I cant figure it out! :banghead:

Can someone help?View attachment logo.psd

looks fine in mine all though I do not have the font used whatever it is so photoshop has taken a snap shot of it as a preview

Did you get a chance to check it out on the website? Do a google search for Skelly Electric in Escondido... the forum wont let me post a link. What do you think about it online?

Thanks!!!

Sorry cant play with it as I am not really prepared to pay $40 for your font

If your willing to swap the font then I could play around for you

Its the text, I would suggest creating the text in Illustrator, then pasting it as a smart object, and try re-saving it. Vector types retain crispness more than PS generated fonts.

..Or start with your original image at twice the size of your original, ex; 1400x200 (for original img of 700x100), save text as smart object, resize and save for web.

Good luck.

Sorry for off topic but this was freaking hilarious how you forced forum moderator search your site on google by your keyword.

Make sure that matte is set to the background color on your page, in the example below I'm assuming it's white.

A few other issues which could cause this is:

- not well designed font (but this should be visible in Photoshop too. Make sure you test it in Photoshop with a (temporary) white background)
- improper anti-aliasing, in this case I recommend smooth.
- not showing the image at 100%, meaning you have a width and height setting in your HTML code which isn't the same as the original size of the image
