Help with figure out how to do it

Hey there. I hope that somebody in here can help me figure out, or have some ideas how to do stuff like the picture.. I have tried to figure it out for myself for some time now but i cant get near anything like this kind of line art.. Its mostly for street-art based work, like for print and stuff.

go to filter >>sketch>>halftone pattern and choose for pattern "line"

You're going to need a high contrast image or turn it into one. The "butterfly mask" can be done using a blend mode, such as multiply, opacity decreased. If you want solid parts, you may need to duplicate the original and mask it so that some parts remain solid. A mask is likely used on the body to remove parts of the halftone-line filter. The words and the heart shape may be part of the original if they are high-contrast enough. Otherwise they can be added to the image.
