Help with Data Sets

Hello Everyone!

I am brand new to the forum, so my apologies if I make any mistakes. I am trying to work with data sets in CS4, and overall I'm impressed with its functionality. There are 2 issues though that I'm struggling with, and hopefully someone out there can help solve them.

First, how can I load all the options within a data set at once? I created a .csv that defines the variables for multiple files, each iteration on a seperate line. When I load data sets, it asks me which option I would like to load. Instead, I want it to load ALL the options as seperate files! Is this possible?

Second, how can I create linebreaks when importing from .csv? The text imports just fine, but it all comes on one line (that wraps, of course, at the boundary of my text box). How can I force a new line from the .csv?

Thank you all for you help, if I need to clarify anything just ask.

What do you mean with "I want it to load ALL the options as seperate files"?

I think you mean records. To output every record as a separate file, use File > Export > Data Sets as Files

You can't force it from the .csv, you need to force it in Excel by using alt + Enter. Photoshop will recognize this once you export.
