I have these two photos from a recent photoshoot and some of the natural brown hair is showing from underneath the wig on the model's left side. i have tried just using the brush tool and coloring it like the hair around it and it didnt look very good. i need help and or suggestions with just this little bit of hair to make it look like there is no wig

thank you

I think that could work or my personal preference is simply to paint on a layer above. Sample the color starting with the shadow and on up to the highlights. Use the eraser tool on low opacity and soft to blend the brush edges.

Set the layer to some blending mode like color, hard light, soft light, etc. Make opacity changes to the layer if necessary. I used soft light at 85% and duplicated the layer. I added a hue to it just to nudge the color some. This is what I got:

I also preferred to paint the area using the brush tool. Only thing I did different was to isolate the small area using the pen tool. I did this so my adjustments would only affect this area and I could reclaim any hard edges around the cheek, lip, and chin area if needed.

I used a soft brush on a small setting to first paint in white hairs leaving just enough of the dark hairs as a contrasting BG. I then tinted the white hairs with a slightly larger brush setting after I sampled the shade of green that I wanted to use.

This is a quick example...
