Help with a Post Card

I have an image editing service who made me a post card template, that I can use to create new ads to run on LinkedIn.

I'd like to have more options with the two "color" bars under the white rectangle. I'd like to be able to go into each bar, and
possible add a gradient / color, instead of a solid color. Is there a way to do this?

Here is a screen shot of the entire post card, and all the layers. What I want to change out are the two different colors, that I've circled
on the "post card" after I "checked off" the layers I want shown.

I hope my question makes sense.

Thank you!

As they are shape layers, just double click rectangle layers 2 and 3 and change their colors.
You can also add a layer style "gradient overlay" to each.

If I only knew how to do what you are telling me to do.........

How would you add a layer style "gradient overlay" to each one?
I don't want to mess up my template, if that makes sense.

Thank you!

Humnnnnn................after all we have been through before?

Easiest way................select the layer in the layers panel, double click or right click in the body of the layer, choose blending options.

When the layer style opens, choose "Gradient Overlay"
Adjust the gradient to your liking.

If you don't like the gradient, turn off the effects (eye) or click and drag the effects to the trash.

Thank you so much.

I'm not a Photoshop whiz, like you are; so step by step guides are so awesome.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
