Help regarding design and color

Hello All,

I am new here and this is my first post. Apology if i post something wrong..

I need help regarding the design and color effect.

I need to make the same effect as if the GDATA logo. This is the logo bit . ly / 18gv0gs

How can o do this kind of effect, like the glowing effect and all.

Is there any tutorial of the same kind? I am unable to find one.
