Help please!

So my problem is that i ve created a nice looking Header for our site (still have to fix the width and heighth)
W/ Black background
but as a header it need to be transparent but i have applied a metalic overlay
linkand i want to keep it so i wanna know how can i keep transparency and the metal overlay
(so keeping the transparent background and applying the metal overlay only to the smoke the type and the middle logo)

I don't know if im getting this right but if it is.

If you still have the PSD file try changing the blend mode of the metallic texture only to the clouds or smoke, i think you must have 5 layers on that document, when saving you image just hide the black background, and save it as a "PNG" document, so you can still retain the alpha as background

if this is not the case, just post you file, if you want, either way let me know if that works.

Yea your right...could you explain how to apply the metalic layer to specific layers?
