help.. need to get this logo to t-shirt printing, there for transparent bg. but...

I used overlay on layer 2-6 and they dont work if I turn of the black bg. But I need the logo to transparent bg for t-shirt printing etc...

I used many hours on trying to fix it.. but no luck!

is there some guru outthere who can help me out?

photoshop file is attached also, please explain me how to make a mask which remove
the blackbg, but not with only feather, smooth to transparent bg.. is it possible?

Is this what you wanted? (logo with transparent background)

First is PNG second JPEG on blue background to show the highlights



If yes, this is the way:

In the PSD file:
Deselect the black background layer
Select the logo (ctrl+click the thumbnail of the logo)
Apply a layer/clipping mask on the group PANDORA.
Make a copy of the highlight layer and drag it on top of the PANDORA group

Hello Eggy.

First when I saw the one on white bg, I thought it was normal feather... but when I see the blue I see its precise what I need! My only problem is now that the logo is not very nice without black bg haha.. but that is my own fault

unless you know of a way to keep a bit black around the logo to show the "outline high lights/bevel shine" thingies...?? haha.. that's kind of the hole logo idea!

There is a way to create a black shadow around the main logo:

In the PSD file:

Select the PANDORA group.
Press shift+ctrl+alt+E to make a composite snapshot of the image.
Duplicate that new layer and drag it below the snapshop.
Select it (ctrl+click on thumbnail)
Go to 'select' -->'modify'-->'expand' and expand 10 px. Make sure black is the foreground color. Press alt+del to color it black.
Go to 'filter'-->'blur'-->'gaussian' and blur 14 px (or more if you wish)

You'll get a blurred black shadow behind the main logo:



I did put the logo on two different colors to show how it looks.

In my previous post I forgot to include 'welcome to the 3rd world'

Drag that original layer just above the PANDORA group.

Due to the thin text I did not made a shadow around that text.
