Wanted to make a neat picture for my new fiance with photoshop, but I feel like something is just a little off about it... Maybe the phone, or the proportion of the hand?
What I did was take a nice photo of us that we had before I purposed and photoshopped the background so it looks like we are taking the picture with the ring on.. (I know I'm cheap, and can't really afford any professional photos right now)

If anyone is willing to look at it and make some comments, or even help fix it up that would be amazing!! :) I have the .psd files if anyone needs them!

I think it looks quite nice. For added realism, I would add a bit of a light glare to the screen, and also move the background to the left (or the phone to the right), maybe also add a sparkly light flare to the ring for dramatic effect. Other than that I don't think there's really much I would change. Overall it's a pretty good job and the focus/depth-of-field looks very nice!
Just out of curiosity though, I kind of wonder if it would look better with the iOS camera overlay on the screen? Probably not but it's worth a shot imo.

I also think it's generally pretty good as is, and it's a clever idea. Since you feel that something is off, I'm trying to find things to be over-critical about. I'm wondering if you deliberately blurred the small portrait inside the phone??? I mention that because the hand is the thing most in-focus, and since the portrait inside the phone is only an inch away from the hand, it seems like the portrait should be a bit more in-focus than it is.
