Hi,

I just joined specifically to get help with this issue, so any help would be appreciated.

I work for a small nonprofit nature center. We rely heavily on donations, including donations of services. So, we had someone kind enough to create the attached logo for us. Unfortunately, as you can see, the edges need a lot of work. She didn't seem able to fix the problem and I don't want to keep pushing her. Can anyone give me advice on how I can fix this issue? I have Elements and limited skills. =)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Your problem looks like artifacts caused from resizing a much smaller image. because the edge quality is so poor, Your going to have to select all the green with the pen or polygonal lasso tool. Then once selected fill it in again with that color green.
So did the artist make this really small and you had to re-size it?

The final image she gave me was 15 inches x 30 inches at 300dpi. But, I'm wondering if she took a 72 dpi image and just resaved it at 300. The image I attached was just a jpg resized to be small enough to attach to the thread. Thanks for the advice. I'll see if I can do it!

I could redo the for you but much better quality.

It will be exactly the same but HQ (High Quality).

That would be amazing. (I tried the lasso stuff, but it wasn't good.) How would that work? I can send you the file I have - or is it easier to just start from scratch?

Thanks so much!!

Here you go...

I did it vexel style and on a huge canvas then sized it down.

I could spend more time on this and make it somewhat smoother.
