Help getting brush effect?

Hi, I really need to get this brush effect. I tried playing around with different brushes and settings, but couldn't get anything similar. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Welcome to PhotoShop Gurus

This brush looks similar, but remember, that effect could be not just a single paint stroke but maybe a combination of blending modes, noise, etc.
I'll suggest painting strokes on an empty layer, then playing whit blending modes, mostly screen and overlay whit a low opacity, also try adding some monochromatic noise.

Yeah, in latest PS, version CS5, you are able to have a lot more control over your brush strokes, that was a long wished dream for digital paint and drawing.
Plus adding a pen tablet to the equation you'll get an awesome artistic experience.

Pretty incredible. I couldn't believe it when I first opened CS5. But there are so many brushes out there on the net anyway, you can probably achieve whatever you need. Just nice to have it at hand.
