i want to make a polarid photo for my and have it printed out.

i have made the image in photo shop how i want.

screen.jpg

now i want to save the layers in there own jpg file ready to print. if i go to file/scrip/Export layer to file. but it comes out like this.

photo 1.jpg(cpopped this down)

how can i get each one to come out like this.

photo 2.jpg

without copying, pasting, rotating and croping to each one. is there a quick and easy way thanks

Wow -- that's a cool idea! But 'layer 122'? Ow! Don't overwrite this image!

I think what I'd do is Select All and Copy Merged and then paste it into a new image (or a new layer). Now you've got all the Polaroids together on a single layer and you should be able to do what you want.

You'll need to give it an outline or a dropshadow or something, or you'll be printing white on white.

thanks just hope my miss likes it as much. I wish it was that simple thow. I want to print every one of the polarods out one by one. So i can remake it by hand (going to be so fun) stick them all together and frame it with the tickits and over photos we got from the trip which im puting into polarids as well and and adding autographs on them. I agrey if i was doing it for a web or computer image i would have but in drop shadows.

Hmmm, I believe Sweasel's on the right track. I'd create a new layer at the top of all the layers and do, Image> Apply Image. That should give you the same effect as what sweasel is talking about. If you don't want some of the layers to show, clicky the little eyeball to hide it.

Yikes, then you have your work cut out for you.

Oh, man, Carl. I don't see an easy way to do that. I hope your Missus appreciates the work.

If you're going to print them out one by one and cut them up, though, there just isn't an easy way to do that that I can see.

i think i might have come up with a way. if i but a background layer back in im thinking black. when i go file/scrip/Export layer to file save as jpg. your see the white polarod border. Then use another program to auto crop and straten it out. is there a way to put a background layer back in even.

Im not sure why you are even trying to do it that way when you are cutting them out anyways, just cut them and place them how you want them.. I may not get what your trying to do..

didnt know any over way. only know the very basics.

i made a template of my polaroid.

pasted them where i wanted to go.

then got the castle and pasted into all the polaroid pic.

this is as fare as i got.

i was hopeing to extract all the polaroids out so i would have each one seprot.

then print each one off.
