Hallo ppl.

I have a little problem which should be very easy to solve (I hobe so)

Using a form (tool rounded rectangle). Where only the edge which has a color andT everything in the center is "background color" (black).

I've put in a picture how it should look like and I hope somebody will give me a good explanation of how I make this simple form.

Thanks

You need to explain yourself a little more clearly

Okay here we go.

I have unsuccessfully tried to make the figure which I have linked to.
The problem is when I try to make the same figure, it becomes filled with fave and I want to just have the same edge as shown in the picture.

Do not understand that it is not possible to create such a character with a few simple clicks.

So if there someone who can give me a guide to how I make this rectangle with no color in the middle but only on the edge.

If I understand you correctly, you want just the stroke and not the fill.

Draw the rectangle with the fill. Create new layer. Ctl/Cmd click on the shape's mask. You will get a selection which you can then stroke.

You are absolutely right that it how I want it. I have now drawn the rectangle, and so are you saying that I need to mask (right click ctrl and enter blendingoption)? Sorry to ask again, but I have to understand it completely.

click inside the rectangle color so it select it then press that little mask button on the bottom of your layer side menu on the right... then make it mask by ctrl del or back del depends of your first and second color.

Or just place yourself in the mask layer and erase all your selection.

I hope it is clear... btw I could not see your linked picture
