Our camera developed a spot in the middle of our pictures about half way through our trip to Cuba. I am hoping there is a way I touch these up to at least make it so its not just a black spot. I have attached a sample image.

Yeah I saw afterwards he was all over with the same garbage.

Awesome how did you do that? I have like 400 pictures to do lol.

Hey tahowe, I used the patch tool and the spot healing brush.

Content aware fill for this pic for sure, possibly the spot healing brush or cloning tool depending on the area around the spot that needs fixing. I expect some of the photos will be difficult to repair. For example if you have the spot on someones face I think you are out of luck but shots of landscapes and building should be salvageable (but may take some work).

There is nothing like a job of this sort to give you the opportunity to learn how to use some of PSs tools. Do your best with the tool suggestions that have been made and if you run into a problem post here again and I am sure someone will be happy to help. For the most part this is how I learnt to use PS, just struggling to figure out how to fix something I did not like. Its a slow method but you really get to know the tools.
