Help. Accidentally deleted path...

So I have a project I've been working on for the past couple hours, and just called it done. It's a logo for my DJing business that I drew up as a path, and then used a variety of tools to actually fill in the path and make the logo, this one designed to be a Facebook cover photo. Anyway, upon calling it done, I went back to go save the path in a separate project (for use as a vector in the future, blowing up larger and stuff) to find that it had apparently been deleted. Upon realizing this, I immediately mashed the step backwards button as quickly as possible, but to no avail: Photoshop won't let me go back far enough. It's gone in the history tool too. Now I realize I should have saved the vector beforehand, but for now I would like to avoid having to redraw the path if I ever need a logo larger than 851x315. Is there any way to recover it?

Btw, I'll admit I'm a bit of a Photoshop newb, so I apologize if I say things incorrectly.

Yeah, if it was deleted past your history states, it is gone.

Go to Preferences and Change the History Undo states number to avoid not being able to go back far enough in the future. I have mine set to about 1000 just in case.
