Help a PhotoShop Novice with simple layering

Hi, I'm pretty good with the computer but struggling to learn some basic PS tricks.

I have two jpgs, one larger and one smaller. The smaller one is a four-leaf clover and the background has been removed.

Could someone provide a link or simple instructions on how to do this? I want to be able to move and resize the clover once it's in place on top of the other image.

I generally prefer written as opposed to video tutorials, but I'm flexible.

I'm working in Elements.

Open both images in the same document.
Place the clover layer above the other layer.
Use free transform to move and resize the clover.

Sam, thanks, I will try. I believe I tried this before, without success.

Is the interface for Elements pretty much the same as PS? I have only Elements.
