I am a newbe to this forum. I have enjoyed being an active member of the About Graphics Challenge forum for several years. Now I am looking for some information about a problem I am having with photoshop. When I try using lighting effects on an image I wind up with horizontal lines thoughout the image. I have tried to attach an example, but not having any luck. Anybody have any ideas about this problem?

HELLO rostel, welcome to PSG. Not sure you can lose them lines, or have you tried adjusting the output levels?

Ideas for removing unwanted noise with lighting effects in Photoshop.

Thanks for your welcoming response, TerryC. I tried to send you my response, but I'm not sure it was sent. At the risk of repeating myself, I have tried everything I could think of to fix this problem, but the only thing that comes close to fixing it is using the clone tool. That is time consuming and the results are not very good. I'm just going to continue to make gradients or use light beam brushes to try to get the effect I want, unless somebody comes up with a fix for me. Rostel
