I'm not completely new to Photoshop, but I have not as yet become a serious user. I started looking into working with it for a project that I am going to be working with, but for the time being I'm starting over from square one and Photoshop CS6. To be perfectly honest, it's more than a little intimidating at first glance. I've been in IT for 20 years now, but art has only been something I've rediscovered since my youth. I'm even planning on taking a class in it in the next few months.

For simple things I'm fine with looking at a tutorial here and there, but I really felt like I'd be missing out on a lot if I didn't get the proper understanding of the power of a tool like this. So I look forward to getting to know everyone and seeing just how badly I can screw up.
 
I forgot to mention, but my name is William. I prefer Will or William. Not Bill or Buck --though I'm not quite sure how Buck became a nickname for William, but it is. Anyway those are my Uncles. I'm just plain Will to everyone.
