I am brand new here and while I'm not brand new to confusers....I'm a total noobie to Graphics and Photoshoping...

i've been trying to find a tutorial on the web that showed how to get the halo effect like a lightsaber on star wars (for the claws), i couldnt find it so i had to use the filter instead.
