Hi there.

I am new to this forum and, remembering my manners, thought I would introduce myself :).

My name is Andy, I am a 40 something, married man with a grown up daughter and I'm from Leicestershire in the UK.

I am a retired Police Officer, I retired in 2000 on ill health grounds following a Helicopter crash (a long and very painful tale).

I am an avid photographer and have a reasonable grasp of PSE 11 but have taken the plunge and got a copy of Photoshop CS6. Talk about a steep learning curve lol, which is why I am here!

I will try not to ask too many daft questions but go easy on me if I haven't used the "search" function occasionally. I find a gentle slap reminds me!

Anyway, that's enough of me. I look forward to getting to know a few here and expand my, rather limited, knowledge of all things PSCS6.

Andy

don't worry about high standards.
if you know about the search option, you are already a holy man in my eyes

welcome to the forum mate, plenty of stuff on here to improve your knowledge !

So your from India, you get my joke lol.
Welcome mate i am originally from Birmingham, well just down the road from there but same issues lol.
Enjoy your time here.

Welcome to PSG. I graduated fro PS6 to CS5. Luckily all the old stuff is still part of the CS series. Including distort>displace. Talk about an old school filter! But still relevant.

In 2 years on this forum, I have learned tons about the new stuff . . . and still learning.
