Hey everyone!
A little about myself. My primary day job for the past 30 years or so has been in the medical profession until I was forcibly retired via major motor vehicle accident. (Bicycles don't fare well against SUV's!)
I have always been an artist and up until a few years ago I was moonlighting as a commercial illustrator as well as painting on a regular basis with acrylics on canvas. I've dabbled in just about every medium imaginable except digital. Several months ago, on the advice of a friend, I purchased a copy of an unmentionable program and began searching for and executing all the tutorials I could find. I was getting fairly adept with it but I quickly outgrew the limitations of the unmentionable program and I jumped straight into CS6!
Long story short, I go to bed at night thinking about Ps. I dream about Ps. I wake up thinking about Ps. If I'm not playing with Ps during the day, evening, or night, I'm thinking about it!
I'm still very new and I'm trying out almost every tutorial I find. Ultimately I'm interested in digital art, but I love logo and IOS logo design, web graphics, vector, and of course 3D. Fortunately, I do not depend on Ps to make a living, it's my newest tool in which I choose for my artistic outlet!
I'm looking forward to learning from this forum and it's members and if by accident I might contribute, that will be fine as well!
