Hi

I have recently been introduced to the wonders of PS and lovin it. My thirst grows daily to learn everything I can using this awesome software. I have joined a few PS forums and have largely been ignored, yes I'm a noob but we were all one once.

I have cs4 which I believe is this latest, hope guys and gals here can help me learn, go easy on me if I ask a step by step tut.

I've been using mainly Youtube in learning how to do some pretty cool stuff, I went out and bought a few tut videos which taught me about actions, since then I 've downloaded over a 1000, these are cool and easy to get some pretty impressive art work done.

Most forums don't ignore beginners, they only start to ignore beginners if they get the feeling that these beginners want everything on a golden plate, although I'm not saying that this was the case with you.

See, there is a difference in saying

"Can someone make these rims matte and glossy black"

or

"I've tried to make these rims matte and glossy black for the last hour, but I'm stuck now on the glossy part, I tried this and that with poor results, so does anyone have a suggestion?"

Notice the difference? ;)
 
Totally agree with you Berry....

I joined a two forums and did what I have done here and introduced myself, I got no response, never mind I thought.

I presented some work that I had done, ask for opinions, again no response. I run my own forum so I understand how they operate, I too get annoyed someone joining and demanding the world.

I came to learn and not ask people to do it for me.

I'm going to be honest with; most people do NOT want to learn Photoshop, they just got some illegal copy of Photoshop and want to get their project done with very little effort.
