Hand burning like paper

Hey! new to the forum

Been working on taking multiple images and combining them together to create one. For this one i took a picture of my hand and a piece of burning paper and put them together. How can i improve this image to look more "realistic" its supposed to have a surreal feel to it but i want it to look more believable? Thanks
