hi,

i am trying to turn a black and white image or line art (with or without grey tones) into an image with white and one color.

an example would be if i have a white page with black lines on it. how could i go about making the black lines pink (and let's say they are on the same layer) without taking the paintbucket to each area?

thank you!

jc

First change Image>Mode to RGB if it is grayscale.
Then Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation, check the colorize box, slide the Brightness slider to about +15 to 20, move the saturation slider to about +10, and adjust hue to the color you want, moving the sliders as needed for depth and brightness.

Good work, Ms Oz!

I moved this thread here, since it is not an hardware/software problem...
