I must have clicked something to make all my images etc go grey, what do I untick

Help - please

I just always fix it when I open a new document. Where it says "Color Mode", make sure it doesn't say grayscale. Click RGB Color. OR- while a doc is already open, you can go to the navbar: IMAGE> MODE> RGB COLOR.

For automation use a File-Automate-Batch

I think I get what you mean... try going to View->Proof Colours and ensuring it is selected. Unfortunately Ctrl+Y will toggle this - you're probably used to Ctrl+Y being a 'repeat' shortcut (opposite to Ctrl+Z undo) so you might have toggled this off...

iDad, if his images are trully physical gone Grey then changing mode won't do any good. Or he messed somthing with preferences.
