[JazzyScotsman]

I am called the JazzyScotsman, because, well...my family has a an old Scottish ancestry, and because I'm a diehard jazz lover and musician. Red-hot jazz from the 1920's and 30's is my absolute favorite. I also love digital photography, drawing, writing short fiction, and old-school, tabletop gaming. I have a degree in graphic Communications Technologies (from Kirkwood Community College, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa), and did 8 years of graphic design related coursework at Northeast Iowa Community College (Peosta, Iowa). The arts are the air I breathe, and nothing gives me greater joy than creating or restoring art. For awhile, I even offered my time on a project dedicated to helping disaster victims whose pictures and images were damaged or lost. That's about it. I'm here to help. If you should ever need anything, just ask.

Thanks! I'll do that. I am always fiddling with something. I'll pull some stuff off my hard drive. Mostly it's restorations and such as that. I don't get around as well as I once did. I was in a crash several years. It busted up my hip and buggered my back, so now I sit behind my monitor and attempt to photoshop the word into a better place. *cheeky grins*

Here's a little restoration project that made me feel rather proud. This was the only surviving image of someone 'very cool uncle' at his place of work. They were so happy see the image, not only fixed, but given a little upgrade. Enjoy.
