I've resigned from the heavens and have given up all of my godly privileges, all in the name of acquiring professional Photoshop CS5 skills. Let's hope that my sacrifice wasn't in vein, if all else fails though, I came with some ambrosia and nectar...just in case. :naughty:

We have many ambrosia and nectar lovers here, hope you brought enough! LOL Welcome

I doubt that I'll headed back to the heavens after seeing what this site has in store. This is by far the most resourceful site I've ever come across and on that note I was wondering whether someone could tell me why my computer demands that I shut pscs5 down because it is low on memory when it has never said this before? This is a recent development and I cannot understand it as I have 2 gigs of ram, AMD Sempron M100 2.00GHz and a 64 bit win. 7 operating system. Please help.

Two gigs isn't all that much today.
Also make sure you configure PS properly.
Ctrl+K then Performance.

Check the memory usage and make sure it's inside the suggested guidelines.
Don't set the History states too high and make sure you set up your scratch disks.

well windows 7 needs 2 gig just to perform you will have to turn of windows aero theme and put classic on windows aero takes at least a gig jus to run alternatively pay for a ram upgrade

Steve you're a life saver since my modifications on the performance and other sub menus under preferences, my photoshop's running as it did before. No hick ups or anything troublesome whatsoever. Thank you.
