I especially like the detail with the tidal wave under the mass cloudy tentacle thing lol.

Also maybe lower opacity on the reflection of the stars in the water here...

Thanks guys, but it's not totally my imagination. This is my take on an ancient Lovecraftian deity.

found out the hard way that Lovecraft monster names can bring up some pretty nasty stuff.

Same here. I was originally going to just leave the water empty, then I decided it needed something. What better than a crusty old boat full of fishermen to witness the beginning of the end of the world.
