Graphics For Tee Shirts


You should save your file as a .tif or native .psd file for an image type graphic. If your graphic is just "line art" created in Illustrator, then use either native .ai or .eps.

Check whether he needs the file in RGB or CMYK as well.
If it is a single spot colour, then a greyscale image will be all you need.

These are common standard formats and should cause least problems.
Remember to create your graphics at full size and as high resolution as your T-shirt printer requires.

Best thing is to check and get the information from the printer at the outset. Saves having to re-do the work again.

Yes, Al is right as always: always ask your printer. Each one as different requirements... He might even give you a template.
