Graphic design tablet REFUSES to work

right, the graphic tablet works fine on my laptop, it uses the same version of ubuntu and te same Xorg driver.

but my desktop doesn't want to pick up the tablet AT ALL like the laptop

this is my xorg.conf file



Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
DefaultDepth 24

Section "Module"
Load "glx"
EndSection



so the tablet hasn't been picked up by te xorg driver which it should, it's a trust TB5300, it's on the official supported list. i need to know where the tablet's section goes or what to do, the forums have been barely any help so far.
