I just had the overwhelmingly disaterous pleasure of receiving an email from my school telling me that I have exceded the credit hours allowed to complete my degree (Associates Of Art) and now my financial aid has been cut off unless I can come up with a good reason why it shouldn't be. I started this thread because I was wondering if anyone knows of any schools that offer full financial aid coverage and offer graphic design programs. I know a lot of them offer financial aid but it only goes so far and you must get student loans. I need a place that is online and is fully covered under financial aid. Does anyone know of such a place?

I dont know how it is in America but over here if you are under 18 and start full time education it is free up to university level. between 18 and 21 you get very good financial aid, If you are unemployed it is free even at university level however it is restricted to a limited amount of courses.

I am sure there is similar schemes for mature learning over there and probably different for every state

You really need to speak to your local carreer advisor or studednt advisor at he college your at now. Sounds unlikely that they will kick you out half way through your course though.

Good news! I went to the school today and filled out an appeals form and changed my major to get my Assosciates in Computer Science where upon completion I will hopefully transfer to James Madison University and major in graphic design. I am excited.

Eyes on the prize!

Yowza. That's a lot of typography, lol. You can do it. Just have to want it.

I had to take math, chemistry, physics, and a few other challenging classes myself. I got into a study group now & then, sometimes went to a tutor, and almost always got together on the lawn before class to discuss the homework!
