Good Morning, I am looking to add a gradual gradient wipe layer to a photo, but
am currently only able to add a gradient wipe that transitions from a black to white layer. What I want is a transition from a black to a transparent layer. Is anyone aware of how to do this? - Kris

Or, select black as your foreground color, then in the gradient toolbar, do this...

PS - To make it perfectly clear, for purposes of illustration, my foreground color was a red and my background color was a green. You need to change the foreground color to black or whatever else you want.
