Hallo everyone!

My name is Cindy Grundsten, and I live in Sweden.

I was told by my friend JgraphNet about this site and became curious. I've been here and looked in a while and finally I decided to become a member.

I'm not good at English, but I will do my very best.

I'm not a beginner in photoshop, but I still have much to learn. And I think it is just fun.
Four years ago, I did not even know what photoshop was. I got an old PC from my daughter and discovered that she had an old photoshop elements installed.

I thought it looked funny and started to try the different tools, but I still did not understood quite what it could do.
By chance I found a Swedish forum that was all about image editing, I joined and I started editing my own photos.
It was like a poison to me, and I sat and practiced every day in different ways to edit my photos.

After a year, I wanted more. So I became a member of Deviantart. The images I saw there made me almost fall off my chair. I could not understand how anyone could make such a beautiful pictures.

I decided to learn, so I studied these talented artists' work and read some tutorials.
It was a whole new world that opened up for me. Photoshop has given and gives me so much joy every day.

And I'm sure I can learn more now when I have joined here as well. It will be really exciting. :)

Welcome to the house Cindy.

Photoshop newbie you are not. Wish I could do something about that but I don't think I could.

Small community, we are. But with very friendly, helpful and crazy members... lol.... Please, take part in the discussions and activity you come across here.

Cheers and thanks for joining.

Cindy - noone is happier to have you here than me and I do indeed hope you will find good enough reason to stay with us.

As dv8_fx (The Lizadboy) already points out, you're absolutely not a Newbie and I have also excused us in another thread for having to tag you with that, but those are the forum rules. You're simply just new to the forum.

There is absolutely no demand to participate in discussions and I say this because I know you are much more of a creator than a debater and it will do just fine with inspiring us with an image every now and then. Just having you here really helps to put Sweden on the Photoshop map.

Of course - it would be nice if you could assist with answering the ever lasting question "How do you extract a model from the background..?" :D

Now - I know there is a number-of-post limit to fill before you can add links to your posts, so I will assist at this stage of your presentation with links to your galleries, as I think people here need to be aware of what kind of superb artwork you are creating.

Please visit Art Design Cindy Grundsten and Cindy's Digital Fantasy Art. And also Advanced Photoshop.

... and if I've done a no-no here by posting the links I trust the Mods to publically punish me. I will gladly take it for the good cause.

Welcome Cindy Grundsten, we are HAPPY to have you. Hope to see this infamous artwork I keep hearing about. :rocker: :cool2:

Thank you so much Dick!
Yes you´re right about discussions. And that I rather create. But its also because the language. You know how terribly bad I am in English :banghead:

But I will try anyway.

Its very kind of you to make links for me, I really appreciate that. Thank you :)

Oh, you're not terrible bad - just like "medium" bad ... :D
No, just kidding. Most will understand you very well and if you think you need help - just let me know.

just checked out your site and you have some amazing I would love to see some speed art (record the screen whilst making 1 of these images but played really fast) I think I could sit there and watch these videos for hours I love how creative people can be. I certainly will be following your work and posts welcome to the forum

Thank you so very much! I get really happy to hear that you like what I do. I have never done this kind of speed art, but I have seen a couple. It looks really fun :)

nothing to it really just get some screen capture software do your normal work flow to create an image whilst recording it and then speed the video up I am trying to do a picture now like your style but guess what I cant do it of the top of my head so trying to find tutorials apparently doing a search for turning photo into a fantasy picture is not specific enough to find something of any use> I id have to turn my Adult website filter on though as I got pore porn than photoshop tutorials. By the way I am from England and English is now almost the 2nd most spoken language here
