good day
i have a photo that i need to make it 960X330 size - so i import the photo to photoshop and changed the canvas size to 960X330 but now the photo is not sitting on all the canvas and the rest of the canvas is white - is there a way to get the real background on all the canvas?
i can't resize all the photo to 960X330 because i lose the proportion
thanks in advance
here is the photo in photoshop :

(opps i found out i can't post here link - i want to show you the screen shut from my mac)
is there a way to show it?

My understanding, you can post an Image, just not a link until you hit a specific number of posts.

I'm trying to reproduce your problem, unable to get your results.

Are you going to Image> Canvas Size? And is your Canvas extension color: Background?

If you don't want the white areas, then you should be cropping the image, not resizing the canvas. But unless it's the same aspect ratio, which you already know it isn't, you're going to lose some of the image when you crop it.
