Can anybody out there give me any information on .png pics? Can they be used in photography? Can they be used like "Tubes" in PSP? Any information about them would be appreciated.
 
I don't know about PSP but I use .png files for preference when I need to manipulate something. It uses lossless data compression and so can be resized much more easily with loss in quality.
