Here's my try at it. My first time using this technique so let me know if it works.
Also left the prongs in which I think makes the image more interesting and with more of a precious stone look.
I can always remove the prongs if you'd like.
Straightened the shot since it was a bit lopsided.
Cropped the image as well - didn't need that much white space surrounding with the ring removed.
