Hello

I have created a picture that consists of several layers. Each layer has one object so together thay make one picture of multiple objects.

Now what should i do if i want to apply effects to all those objects. For example i want to use the blur tool to smooth the edges of my objects that are together.
Do i have to create a new layer with a special attribute so it would be lika background or....

thnx

You'll have to apply the effects to each layer separately.

If you want to take a shortcut, then add a new layer above all the others and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E. That's create a merged copy of all your layers, on one single layer.

This allows for experimenting, without losing your separate layers; in case you decide to alter them in some way.

Hey thats a good one Mark!Didn't know about that one and could have saved much time if I had. I've been duplicating each layer and then going through the tedious thing of linking the right layers, not the copied ones and then merging them. Jeez 8} 8} Learned something new today. Thanks
