Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help to get this text effect on the word "Charlena"?

Hi Charlotte, I agree with hawkeye. But sometimes you may want to use a specific portion of an image. Do you know how to clip imagery to letters?

i also see a possible inner bevel and emboss effect. It looks like there's a slight depression running along the insides of the letters. Other than that use a drop shadow at 45* angle, and apply a gradient overlay (alternating yellow to red) at the same angle. Then apply a texture.(if your using a texture image in a new layer above, all you need to do to make it apply to the text and only the text is right click> create clipping mask)
