Hi there everyone.

First of all i dont know if the question that i will ask here is allowed. i'm here to ask (or lets even call it begging) for a free design. if it isnt allowed then i'm verry sorry for doing it.

Verry soon we have an event planned here where the childeren are free to play some sort of mini games. Since the event is free and everything we have depends on our sponsors we dont have any budget. The main theme of the event is everything that has to sommething with fairytales.

Now we are looking for some kind of 'logo' or sommething that we can put onto our flyers.
Into the attachment you can see the logo that was used by the previous owners of the event.

Now we sure arent looking to use the same kind of collors or pictures on it, as u maybe can see the previous events had a theme with pirates. Since we are the new organisers and we have the theme 'fairytales' we would love to use a completely new design.

Since we havent anything yet you are completely free to design sommething and i am pretty sure that we will be happy with almost everything. Just keep in mind that it is an event for childeren.
The text on the image you dont have to mind, that we will be able to put it on by ourselfs, that wont be that hard :wink:.


As mentioned before, i'm sorry for the begging but our work with photoshop or pencil and paper doesnt brings us no good. And since our verry low budget we cant afford to pay someone. Perhaps this will be possible if the event is a succes, but that we cant say by now.

I hope someone can help us out.
I also hope you can read my crappy english, sorry if i typed a lot of faults :confused:

we are indeed quiete much in a hurry, we would love to have a flyers done by the end of this month.
Thats also pretty much the reason why i start desperate looking for a solution, i have a feeling the most people here can do this way faster than by the time we have done it ourself.

We used to work toggether with some to do such work for us but since his pretty bussy carreer in the music bussines he had to quit. cant really blame him since everything we do is voluntary, or however it is called in english:mrgreen:

i'll check the forum regulary and lets just hope someone pops up that can help us.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. I have a manipulation I made recently for a series I call the Lion & the Lamb. It isn't a cartoon but it is a fairy tale. I am posting a version I made for you (posting it here much smaller than the original you could use for printing).

If you like the idea, I can work it into a poster. I know it is full color though so your printer may wish for some parts to be solid color. I might be able to do that and make it a bit more cartoonish. See if you like it. If so, I'll see what we can do. Others may come up with something that will work better for your requirements; if so, feel free to decline my offer! :twisted:

thx for the fast response and the great results so far.

the image you posted is a beauty, and the fact that you are talking to make it into a poster would also saves us a lot of work :mrgreen:

The only thing that i'm afraid of is the fact that the fairy tale from the lion and the lamb that you are talking about isnt really known here, so i'm afraid that the people might not get the message in it. I dont know if it would be possible to add sommething to it from another fairy tale like: robin hood, the 3 little pigies, rapunzel, snowhite,...
Those are the stories we are working on with the event.

Making it more cartoonish will probably make it a lot diffirent and maybe it wouldnt be bad to have some brighter collors so that childeren get atracted to it faster.

maybe some information that can help if you are really planning in to making it into a poster.

The posters that we will have is a A3 format, offcourse full color.
The flyers are A6 and also full color.
And if it would be possible to get the logo on its own (and if possible on a transparant background) it would also be nice so we can use it to send to newspapers and websites to announce our event.

Anyway, if some things arent possible, no problem.
Since you people are helping us out we are already happy with the things that we get.
 
Hi. I should have stated that the Lion & the Lamb is not a fairytale. It is a biblical reference (Christian Bible): Isaiah: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." So it doesn'tactually say the lion and lamb but it has morphed into this saying.

I made it into a fairytale fantasy but it isn't really a fairytale as such. I was just offering it because I have it made already. I could easily brighten the colors, but I don't think I have time to make a new image that you will want to use. I hope another member will have the time and imagination to do this. I'm sorry I can't accomodate you right now.
