Hi,
I would like to learn more about fonts.Like how to choose the right font? what font gives what impression.
Does anybody know of a good book,thatmight cover such topics and not go into text effects.

She defines the principles governing type and explains the logic behind them so readers can understand what looks best -- and why. (And is a marvelously engaging writer!)
