Hi all, I'm new to this forum and to photoshop. I have installed the trial version of Photoshop CS5 installed.
I'm trying to create a banner and I intend to add some text to it. I notice that while adding text to the banner, the text font size appears to be very small even when I increase it size '72'. What could be the reason and how do I fix this problem so that I can see text in regular size. Need to complete a banner in 12 days. Pls help asap!!

Hmmm, when changing the font size do you have your text selected? Make sure you select the text you want to change with the type tool like iI have in the blue circle and you should be able to resize.

Hi, thank you for your suggestion but it did not help. I selected the text and increased the font yet it appears to be very small - barely visible. I've selected the banner size to be just 800 cm x 200 cm. Could there be any other thing that I'm missing?

The canvas is just 800 cm x 200 cm. I guess it is std. size. I selected the text and increased the font size but it does not help.
One lame passing thought - I hope it is not because I'm using a trial version. I guess not but I was just wondering!!
Do you have other thoughts??

800cm x 200cm ? lol AgentModler was correct, thats massive 8m x 2m or roughly 24f x 6f. Change to 800pixles x 200pixels or some other more manageable size.. unless your banner is for a billboard :)
