Illustrator Font Question

Could somebody tell me how you scroll through fonts and preview them on active text in illustrator CS5. I've seen people doing it in videos but can't figure out how they're doing it.

What I mean is if you have some text typed out, for example - HELLO - how do you scroll and preview the fonts on that bit of text.

Would appreciate if anyone can help

Unfortunately and irritably - there's none like PS text preview in the Character panel.

But in MENU>TYPE>FONT , you can preview fonts, but only by their font names.

I wish adobe does something about that..........

Go to Preferences>Type and then click the check box in front of Font Preview. Should do the trick.

type your text highlight it click the font box where it says what font you are using it should go blue then use your up and down arrow keys to scroll through all the fonts. This will give you a live preview of your text
