Hi PSG forum, how we doing. So I was in a Flash(y) mood today and started messing around with a little interface. This little project isn't interactive or anything, but thought it was good enough to put on my site anyway. Click on the button that reads "Gallery Interface" to watch.

Hey Hoogle, how you doing. I don't quite understand what you mean on the compression formats and slow response times. Do you mean that the interface takes a long time to load the respective links? If that's the case, then I would agree with you. The drawback to this interface is that it was put together with Flash Catalyst. What this means is that all of the flash files are embedded into one file. In the end, everything has to load all at once. Yes I do have quite a few files situated in this interface and they are a bit large in file size. I guess I could make an interface directly in Flash that loads selections externally. When the viewer clicks on a navigation button, the file that corresponds to the button that's clicked on will be the only one loaded.

It's either that, or since you viewed it once already it's saved in your computer's cache for quicker download. Could be any number of reasons. But back to what I was saying is I would be better served if I made an interface programmed like the one's on my aftereffects, photoshop, and photography page. Everything is loaded externally instead of all at once.
