First Piece of Art with PS

I know it's nothing that amazing but I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt. Would really appreciate any critique as to how it could be improved

Excellent first PS artwork. Why not add a bit more ripples to the "lake" reflection.

I agree, very nice. Looks like it was a lot of fun to do. When you stop having fun, that's how you know it's time to uninstall Photoshop. Right

I can definitely see a lot of room for improvement - the sun for example looks terrible lol

Unfortunately I merged all the layers and saved it so I'll have to start from scratch. Oh well

ow, newbie mistake! I've never done that (now clare, mama told you not to tell fibs)

Don't flatten. Copy-merge, make a duplicate, hide stuff in folders, but don't flatten.

You do know that PS will automatically create a jpeg, png, etc., without you having to merge anything.

Stamp Visible (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E). It mergers all layers but into a new layer.

Ahhhhh.... this is definetly better.

I would suggest sharpening the foreground mountain a tad and blurring the background mountains a bit more.

The lake reflection is just right.
