This was my first picture taken with my new camera, no real talent just working my way around all the buttons and bells today ha ha.
The VR option is amazing though.
These are small flowers grown from seed on the kitchen window sill, kids grew them for school project, shot in macro just to see what happened.
Not to shabby considering it was in my hand, and i had been drinking all last night hick.

And you could have told people you were celebrating your birthday lat night, you lush! Happy BD Paul! Vibrant color. I'm glad you're enjoying it, but I'm jealous, lol.

Just ordered a set of macro lenses of a site we all know (wink) enables closer image captures than the standard lense does, suitable for my camera/lens set up and only $16, worth a punt at that price.
And a tripod made by Olympus oct for the nikon at $12 free shipping on both, very nice.

you're going to kill me now :P you might want to crop that blurred orange plant on the left hand side, it's a bit distracting, but nobbad! liking your new camera then?

Happy birthday Paul
Nice picture, really vivid colours. I am looking for makro lens too, but there are none for $16 here :-( Anyhow, enjoy it and yes, tripod is very important, as soon as you have it, you can show us a shot of South Cross on the sky, I have never seen it.

Yeah i centred it for a reason Pete, normally off set:frown:
