Hi everyone, I normaly don't do manipulations but i'm getting more and more into it.

Just wondered what you think of my first effet. Thanx.future_land.jpg

Hi there.

Some of the resources were from sxu stock site after permissions granted by the owners to use them, some the peice was hand drawn by me and some of the resources were from public domain.

I like the concept of this piece and the colours used.

The island in the middle needs more work though. Like the lamp post looks too big. And the island also looks close but still looks very small. Work more on your perspectives. Try adding more shadowing also, as the moon appears very bright.

Other than that, I like it.

By the way, post your resources so we can see what you did.

OH that looks like fun! And that's part of the deal with manipulations. They can be fun, they can be challenging, they can make statements, they are satisfying. You can learn a lot about Photoshop working out problems as you go, not to mention honing your design skills and sight. Keep it up and keep finding alternate ways to make things.

Ah, one thing: the yellow rectangle on the castle? Was it meant to be within a window? And if it was and moved somehow. I would suggest that you put either an inner or outer glow on it. It's too yellow and not diffuse enough. If that's what it is . . .

Thanks evryone.

Will do more work on it and re post it when it's done, Might take a while as do not get much time at the pc due to work commitments.

OK had a chance to do some more to it.

Removed the out of align window light on the castle, added some shadows and hopefully gave the light beacons more perspective.
