Firefly Effect

Hi,


I have a picture of a lake taken during the day, that I have made into a night image, using the color lookup moonlight effect.

I would like to add some glowing "firefly" like lights, but cannot figure out how to do so.....seems like it would be easy but numerous google/youtube searches have not helped.

Tried to render a lens flare, but it wasnt the exact effect I wanted.

Any suggestions?

Dont want to include the entire critter, just the glowy bits like you would see on a dark night.

Just cut them out and place an outer glow on them.

What I would do is I would create a layer above your image and add a layer style of outer glow and probably pick a soft edge brush about 2 to 3 pixels wide mayby smaller maybe bigger depending

It could be as many as you want or as little as you want
