Fire Girl

Hi, so I'm writing a book, and I need a cover. I have a great idea here, but I suck at photoshopping stuff.:banghead:

Anyways, here's the main photo.
Please, please, pretty please help me.

Here are the changes I need:

1. The background- I'd like it to be so the girl is only slightly smaller, just enough so you can see that she's in this clearing. Have fun with where she is; in a tree, leaning against a tree, smack dab in the middle... Basically, as long as she's there and approximately the same size, we're good.

2. The girl. Could someone shop her hair so it's a nicer, brighter orange? Maybe a shade darker than the trees.
Also, I'd like her to have a clear tear running down her face, except for the tear to be of fire, and to be about to land on...

3. The tree. I want to have a teeny camphor tree, this same green, growing next to her, so she's about to light it on fire. It should be no higher than her knee.

4. Her clothes. Could you get her to wear this? It's not a priority, but I would LOVE if you could do it. Seriously. The original pic was watermarked, but I FINALLY got this to work. Here's the dress:

4. If you think anything has to be fixed, DO IT. The lighting, the clothes, whatever.

Also, if you could make the finished image bigger than the original (of the girl), maybe between that and the forest scene, I would be eternally grateful.

Wait, no. I would be eternally grateful if someone just did this. Forget the size, the pic alone would be awesome.

PLEASE HELP!

Anyone who does this, I will love you.:wink:

hmm, maybe you're lucky as there's a contest of emotions going on around here so I think someone would consider doing this for you :)

You have a clear picture of what you want! Good! ... everything seems fine, but I think: "Also, I'd like her to have a clear tear running down her face, except for the tear to be of fire, and to be about to land on the tree" ... the thing is that you want everything in the picture in the orange shades, which will make it difficult to discern "the tear to be on fire." My suggestion is to drop that idea and focus on just the tree and the girl ... my opinion ...

I can give it a try tomorrow to explain more.

O.M.G. WOW.

Um, could you make her bigger, to about her original size? And I didn't need her blowing fire, I needed a tear of fire LOL... But wow. Really awesome.

I would love if you would try! I see your point, everything is orange, but maybe the tear could be... Red? Yellow? Yeah I suck at this... Ah well.

honest opinion the background needs desaturating more to make the girl pop more. she is a bit lost in that bright background. also that hue when going to print will also loose the title and cover text. It probably wont print clearly either.

Oh, I'll be using one of those expensive printers that are awesome, so no worries about that, but I see what you mean in saturation. I will modify what I asked. Could you please try to do it? You see, I liked colleague's, but the tree should be shorter, below her head. Also, she should be bigger(meaning you can see her face, where the tear would be), and it should be a tear, not a gigantic wave of fire she's breathing out. Oh, and you're right with saturation. If you could show me what you meant? Thanks, that would be awesome.

eeh it seems like the dress has some watermark on it, for copyright...
is this not a problem with the book cover?

You are right, ty, and I should have caught this or it should have been reported. It is probably a bit late now, but we do have rules about using copyrighted images. I will be more vigilant in unapproving images and ask that everyone use the report button when they come across them, at time of posting or soon after of course is best.

Here's why that dress is up there:

I found a great pic of pretty much the same dress. Unfortunately, a message popped up when I tried to edit my original post. It said I had to edit at least six characters. So, I am not to blame.

Yippee! It finally worked!

Thanks for switching it out DaHanci. You do need a few posts to get the edit button.

Which of course is one reason we moderators are here. To help you when and where we can.
