filter gallery batch?

Hey, complete photoshop newbie here!

I was just wondering if its possible to add a filter gallery effect to a large amount of pictures in one go?

What is a "filter gallery effect" ?

- Open an image
- Start a new action
- Apply a filter (or several filters)
- Stop recording
- Pull down "File > Automate > Batch"
- Make sure the "filtering" action is selected
- Choose source folder
- Choose "Destination" (file saving) options
- OK
