Hi,

I am using Photoshop CS4

I am trying to fill a text with a image

I go to Select/Color Range and select ok

But the error message come up saying - No pixels were selected?

All I want to do is just select the text that I typed?

Can anyone help me here?

Thanks

  1. Open a blank layer above the image and fill it with whatever color you want for the background (surrounding the text).
  2. Click the new layer mask icon to put a white mask on that layer.
  3. Alt-click the layer mask to make it visible (the image will now be solid white).
  4. Use the text tool to enter text, in black, directly on the white mask; adjust text to the size you want.
  5. Alt-click on the mask to make that invisible and reveal the background color.
